Self-Defense Sunglasses May Stop a Bullet
Priced at a hefty $317, the Japan Self-Defense Force Sunglasses are touted as the world's first to "withstand an impact from an object 0.3 inches (or 6.55mm) traveling at 106 miles per hour."
Those specs probably won't mean much against a 9mm bullet speeding toward your eye at over 1,000 miles per hour, but it does make for a neat image.
